Annual music theatre festival “Musikaliteten” is arranged in Oslo by students of Høyskolen Kristiania. The theme of Musikaliteten 2021 is “fear”.

Visual identity of the festival is designed based on the concept of “fear of the unknown”. I used an architectural element of the actual theatre building, an arched window, which creates dramatic effect and is a metaphor for hope, change, and step into the unknown. Colors and lights create mystical and exciting atmosphere. It represents both dark and exciting sides of the fear and reminds us of the theatre and scene ambience.
